Due to our ever-developing business, we are currently looking to recruit a mobile cleaning operative on the Isle of Wight
The Role:
• Job title: Mobile Cleaning Operative or Team
• Hours: 48+ hours per week
• Pay rate: £12.00 per hour, paid 2-weekly. 52 weeks a year.
• Location: Isle of Wight – a company van will be provided.
• Team: You will work closely with the On-Site Cleaning Teams for each site you cover as well as the management team in the area.
As one of our Mobile Cleaning Operatives or Teams, you will help us cover the cleaning of our Isle of Wight contracts. This role is varied and two days are never the same. Working as part of the onsite teams your role will be to help keep the sites clean, hygienic and safe which will include emptying bins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming hallways and cleaning the surfaces
This could be to cover sickness, absence and vacancies or because there is extra work on the sites to be done. You will be on occasion working independently and have a high degree of flexibility and be comfortable driving between sites across the Island. You will be part of #TeamTopMops, working closely with your managers to respond to queries from clients and meet customer expectations.
A company van will be provided for this position, and you will need to have a full manual driving license.
All staff are DBS checked.
Full BICSC Training provided – with the chance to progress and train further to become a Licenced Member of Practice with BICSc
Successful candidates for the role will require:
Experience in a cleaning role (desirable).
A great work ethic, positive, and ready to get stuck in.
A keen eye for the details.
The ability to work unsupervised at times.
You should also be prepared to help covering each other for holidays/sickness.
