When Top Mops Event Services officially launched in April 2025, it marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our company’s 27-year story. Having supported festivals and large-scale events for nearly two decades — including the Isle of Wight Festival for over 19 years — we already knew the unique demands and pace of the live events industry. With event cleaning and waste contracts growing year on year, it was a natural progression to establish a dedicated division with its own management structure, procedures, and specialist focus.
The creation of Top Mops Event Services allowed us to combine the strength, reliability, and best practices of Top Mops Limited with a division purpose-built for the fast-moving world of festivals, concerts, and live events. Led by our experienced event management team, including newly appointed contract managers Josh Tutty and Olivia Gill, our goal was clear from the start: deliver consistent, sustainable results that organisers can trust — whatever the size, scale, or challenge.
A Season to Remember
Our first season has been nothing short of exceptional. From iconic performances by Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Oasis, and Guns N’ Roses to major festivals such as Creamfields, Download, Forbidden Forest, Neighbourhood Weekender, In It Together, and the Isle of Wight Festival, our teams have worked tirelessly across the UK to keep sites clean, safe, and operational from build-up through to final clear down.
Beyond music, 2025 also saw us supporting some of the country’s most prestigious sporting and cultural events — including The Royal Windsor Horse Show, London Marathon, London to Brighton Bike Ride, Scottish Open, Senior Open, and British Masters. Each project demanded meticulous planning, rapid response capability, and close collaboration with organisers and suppliers — and our team delivered every time.
Key partnerships have been central to that success. Working alongside A1 Loo Hire, Grundon’s Waste, and Site Equip, we’ve built trusted relationships that strengthen our ability to offer a full, end-to-end event cleaning and waste management service. Together, we’ve helped clients achieve ambitious sustainability goals, improve recycling rates, and demonstrate measurable environmental impact.
Our recent feature in Stand Out Magazine highlighted exactly that — showcasing how our work at the British Mastersand Senior Open diverted over 28.26 tonnes of event waste from landfill. Of this, 16% was recycled and the remaining 84% went to Energy from Waste, generating an estimated 14.2 MWh of electricity — enough to power five UK homes for a year or provide 237 full charges of a standard electric vehicle.
Recognition and Progress
In just a few months, Top Mops Event Services has achieved several important milestones. We’re proud to have been accepted as a member of the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) — a significant endorsement of our commitment to excellence within the live events industry.
We are also actively working towards ISO 20121 accreditation for sustainable event management, with our audit currently in progress. This accreditation will formalise our ongoing dedication to operating responsibly and supporting organisers in meeting their own sustainability objectives.
And as the year draws to a close, our team is delighted to have entered the Cleaning Excellence Awards 2025, recognising the hard work, innovation, and professionalism that has shaped our inaugural season.
Looking Ahead
A year ago, launching a dedicated events division wasn’t even on our radar. Today, we’re proud to reflect on an outstanding year of growth, achievement, and opportunity. Even as the traditional events season winds down, our diary remains full — with winter projects already confirmed and new enquiries coming in each week.
