As our first season draws to a close, we’re proud to share another major milestone for Top Mops Event Services — being featured in the October 2025 Waste Management Edition of StandOut Magazine.
The publication’s annual Waste Issue is a respected platform for innovation and best practice in the events industry, and we were thrilled to see our name alongside some of the sector’s most forward-thinking suppliers and organisers. For our team, this feature represents far more than just a mention, it’s a reflection of how far our dedicated events division has come since launching in April 2025, and the impact we’re already making across the UK’s live events sector.
A Season That Showed What’s Possible
In just our first year as a dedicated division, Top Mops Event Services has supported some of the UK’s most prestigious events; from Creamfields, Download, and the Isle of Wight Festival to the Royal Windsor Horse Show, London Marathon, and the British Masters.
It was our work at the British Masters and ISPS HANDA Senior Open, however, that caught the attention of StandOut Magazine. The article highlighted our sustainable approach to waste management and the measurable results achieved across both events, where our teams managed 28.26 tonnes of event waste, ensuring zero-to-landfill and generating an estimated 14.2 MWh of renewable energy through energy recovery.
To put that into perspective, that’s enough to power five UK homes for an entire year, charge 237 electric vehicle batteries, or provide over two full days of electricity for an average hospital.
Beyond the numbers, these results demonstrate our belief that event cleaning and waste management can and should make a positive difference. Every tonne diverted from landfill is a tangible step towards a more sustainable events industry, and we’re proud to be driving that change.
