On Friday 10th October, our Managing Director Mark Tutty and his wife Loren attended the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) Charity Gala, held at the Royal Leonardo Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
The black-tie event, hosted by Veritec and the Royal Leonardo, brought together local businesses, supporters, and community partners for an evening celebrating the outstanding work of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Guests were treated to a champagne reception, three-course dinner, live music from a Queen tribute band, a magician’s performance, and an exciting charity auction and raffle.
Throughout the evening, there was a clear sense of shared purpose and pride in supporting such a vital local service. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance provides life-saving emergency medical care across the region, 365 days a year — entirely funded by the generosity of its supporters.
We were thrilled to hear that the event raised an incredible £16,000 (and counting!) to help keep the charity’s critical care teams flying. It’s a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the community’s commitment to this life-saving cause.
It was also a wonderful opportunity for Mark and Loren to catch up with familiar faces from the Hampshire business community, including Matt Greg of Nosy Design and Karen Lucas of Vikoma, both there showing their support for the charity.
