In May, we saw 6 of our staff band together to join in with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance charity event of Miles for Missions; where each person had to walk 100 miles or more within the month. This would be on average 3.22 miles a day.
The team did really well and between them raised over £1000, walked a total of over 632 miles, which is 1,323,294 steps and over 214 hours of activity
A special shout out to Carly, who went above and beyond by completing her 100 miles in 21 days, and raised over £680 alone.
Well done to everyone who took part. It was so lovely to see your updates and the miles you put in to keep the HIOWAA missions funded.
