Mark is the MD of Top Mops and started the company in 1998 as a “man and a mop” after he was asked by an associate if he knew anyone that could clean a caravan. At the time Mark was a Chef and an events organiser looking to diversify. It was this chance meeting that made Mark realise that there was a market on the Island for a forward thinking cleaning company, and the rest as they say is history.
Since its inception Mark has grown Top Mops considerably and it now boasts in excess of 120 contracts serviced by 200 staff making it the largest independent cleaning provider in the Isle of Wight, expanding into Hampshire.
Outside of work Mark enjoys socialising and his beloved Great Danes, Del and Rodney.
Sarah has over 10 year’s worth of Customer Service experience from various roles in both big and small businesses across the Island and Hampshire. Sarah studied at Southampton Solent University where she received a BA Hons degree in Performance that led to several years working in London on the West End and with the BBC.
Ensuring that the customer receives the best possible care is Sarah’s No.1 priority. She strives to deliver a complete service and aim to ensure that each customer gets the bespoke cared for service that they require.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys watching musicals, attending festivals and spending weekends with family enjoying and exploring the island.
Cate joined the company in January 2012 and is Top Mops’ Office Manager.
An experienced administrator and staff manager she brings expertise from both the public and private sectors. Her experience is in: project delivery, communications, legal casework, business management, travel and logistics, tender writing and marketing.
In her spare time Cate plays piano for Newchurch male voice choir and also sings in a group called ‘Cantobell’. Cate likes to research Genealogy and she also enjoys knitting.
